My late and much loved father was the artist Barry Donohoo, best known today for his work ‘the statue of Duke Kahanamoku’ on the cliff at Freshwater Beach, Sydney.
Recently, my brother Angus, my father’s widow, Lesley McCusker, and I have begun cataloguing Dad’s work so that we can share it with the Australian public.
This is the first release from my family’s private collection. It features limited editions of a range of works, including some tributes to his love of his country and his home by the sea. Lesley and I are very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of preserving these important historical Australian works.
